대부도 지방의 전설고

A Study on the legend of Taebu-do

이 연구는 대부도 지방의 전설에 대한 조사 연구이다. 자원인사의 부족으로 현지 채집은 지명유래 전설에 그치고, 그 외의 전설은 채록된 문헌을 중심으로 하였다. 수집된 전설을 중심으로 특징을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 1. 타지방과 마찬가지로 지명유래 전설이 많다. 2. 지명전설은 자연물과 동물의 형상에서 유래된 전설이 많다. 3. 특기할 전설은 1) 자연과 인간의 아름다운 교류라는 주제를 담은 까치섬 전설이다. 2) 인조대왕이 잠시 머물렀다는 데서 유래된 지명전설로 왕지정 전설이 있다. 지리적으로 지형적으로 보아 전설 생산의 환경이 부족하여 많은 전설이 유래되지 않았다.

This is a research to survey the legend of Taebu-do. The origins of the name of the places were examined by a field survey but others were adopted in the literature concerned. The findings from collected legends are as follows: 1. Taebu-do has born a lot of legends like other areas. 2. Most of the legends of the place names originated from the configurations of natural objects and animals. 3. The most noticeable legend is one about Kkachi Island which represents a harmonical interaction between nature and human being. Another legend is about Wangjijong which originated from a historical fact that King Injo stayed in that place at a time. But from the geographical and topographical point of view, Taebu-do was not endowed with such a natural environment that could produce a lot of legends.
