大阜島ㆍ濟扶島의 금기언

A Research on the Taboo-Expressing Sentences of Taebu-do and Chebu-do

1999년 6월 18일부터 19일까지 대부도와 제부도에서 토박이를 직접 면답하는 방식으로 금기언을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조사된 금기언은 모두 198개이다. 2. 금기언에 대한 의식이 엷어짐으로써 제보자간에 많은 차이가 있고, 혼란된 모습이 두드러지게 나타났다. 3. 그런 중에도 해산과 육아 영역에서는 다른 지역과 동일하게 많은 금기가 있었고 혼란도 거의 없었다. 4. 섬이지만 어업과 관련된 금기언은 많지 않았다. 주민의 대부분이 농업에 종사하고 있어서 그런 것으로 보인다. 5. 다른 지역에서는 조사되지 않은 금기언이 9개 채록되었다.

The purpose of this research was to find out the speciality of taboo-expressing sentences at Taebu-do island Chebu-do island. This research was held at Taebu-do ＆ Chebu-do during 18-19. 6. 1999 by interview with old man and old women living there for many generations. 198 Taboo-expressing sentences was confirmed as follows. The result of this research is follows. First, Taboo-expressing sentences in these island was in utter confusion. Their mention was different each other in many occasions. Second, Child birth and child care area was emphasized. It means that they take a serious view of child birth and child care. Third, Fishery area was not emphasized in spite of island. Because of it was assumed for that most of inhabitants engaged in farming.
