강우관측소의 고도별 분포를 고려한 강우관측망 평가 및 최적화 연구

Evaluation and Optimization of a Rain Gauge Network Considering the Altitudinal Distribution of Rain Gauges For the Han River Basin

본 연구에서는 강우관측소의 고도별 공간분포의 적정성을 평가하기 위한 방안으로 고도별 강우관측소의 최근린지수를 산정하여 현재 강우관측소 공간분포의 적정성을 평가하였다. 고도마다 다른 지형적인 조건을 고려하기 위하여 주어진 지형조건내에서 가능한 최대 최근린 지수를 최적화 기법의 하나인 화음탐색법을 이용하여 산정하였다. 이와 같이 고도별로 두가지 NNI를 구한 후 이 두 값의 차이를 바탕으로 고도별 적정 강우관측소 분포를 평가하였다. 아울러 유클리더언 거리를 이용하여 평면적 분포특성과 고도별 분포특성을 동시에 반영한 강우관측망을 평가하였으며, 제안된 방법을 한강유역에 적용하였다. 그 결과 평면적 분포가 가장 좋은 유역은 HanSub2 유역이며, 고도별 분포가 가장 좋은 유역은 HanSub1 유역으로 분석되었다. 평면적 분포와 고도별 분포를 동시에 고려한 강우관측망의 공간분포를 검토한 결과 HanSub1(충주댐 상류) 유역의 공간분포가 좋은 것으로 분석되었으며, 반면 Hansub2(충주댐 하류) 유역은 공간분포가 좋지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 한강유역의 강우관측망은 평면적 분포보다는 고도별 분포가 상대적으로 취약하고 판단된다. 본 연구를 통해서 제시된 방법은 최적 강우관측망 구축에 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, we estimate the NNI(Nearest Neighbor Index) which is considered altitude of rain gauge network as a method for evaluating appropriateness of spatial distribution and the current rain gauge network is evaluated. In order to consider geographical conditions that vary from altitude to altitude, the optimal NNI(Nearest neighbor index) within a given basin condition is estimated using harmony search method which is one of the optimization techniques. After calculating current NNI and optimal NNI for each altitude, the distribution of the rain gauge network is evaluated based on the difference between the two NNIs. In addition, the rain gauge network was evaluated using the Euclidean distance for taking into consideration the horizontal distribution and the altitude distribution, then the proposed method applies to the Han River basin. As a result, it founds that HansSub2 is horizontally well distributed basin while HanSub1 is well distribution by altitude. When the rain gauge is evaluated both the horizontal distribution and the altitude distribution, HanSub1 (Upper stream of ChoongJu Dam basin) is analyzed as the spatially well distribution while the opposite is true for HanSub2 (Downstream of ChoongJu Dam basin). The rain gauge network of the Han River basin has a relatively worse altitude distribution than a horizontal distribution. The results from this study can be applied towards the ideal establishment of the rain gauge networks.
