수지 후막 날염을 활용한 텍스타일 디자인 연구

A study on Textile Design by High Density Resin Printing

현대의 수지 후막 날염(樹脂厚膜捺染, high density resin printing) 을 이용한 텍스타일 디자인 분야는 다양한 형태의 무늬, 수지안료에 의한 두께감, 후가공(後加工)에 의한 텍스처(texture)의 결합에 의한 새로운 표현 영역으로 발전하고 있다. 수지 후막 날염에 의한 텍스타일 디자인은 소재와 형태 자체가 주는 조형미뿐만 아니라 색상, 질감, 마감처리가 디자인 프로세스에 있어서 더욱 선행되어야 하는 중요한 요소이다. 안료수지날염은 다양한 기능성을 지닌 합성수지의 개발에 의해 큰 발전을 이루었다. 그 결과 염색으로는 표현할 수 없었던 다양한 색상과 질감을 직물에 표현할 수 있게 되었다. 최근 날염에 사용하고 있는 수지의 발전은 안료, 염료의 성분 및 특성에 따른 색상표현과 코팅, 워싱 등을 활용한 표면처리 방식을 통해 다양한 표현을 가능하게 하였다. 또한 수지 날염법에 대한 차별화된 조형성과 심미성을 위한 지속적인 연구가 진행되어, 최근에는 수지안료의 물리적 특성을 활용한 후막 날염을 개발하였다. 이에 본 연구는 텍스타일 디자인에 활용되는 수지 후막 날염의 다양한 기법과 방식을 연구하고, 기존의 수지 날염과 차별화된 표현 효과를 분석하여 텍스타일 디자인 분야의 기초 자료로써 다양한 활용을 기대한다.

The field of textile design using high density resin printing has developed into a new expression area by combination of various patterns, thickness by resin pigment, texture by post-processing. Textile design due to high density resin printing has become an important element in the design process as well as color, texture and finishing, as well as the formative beauty of the material and form itself. Pigment resin printing has made great progress by the development of synthetic resin with various functions. As a result, it became possible to express various colors and textures on fabrics that could not be expressed by dyeing. Recently, the development of resins used in printing has made possible various expressions through the surface treatment method using color expression, coating and washing according to the composition and characteristics of pigments and dyes. In addition, continuous research has been conducted for differentiating formability and aesthetics of the resin printing method, and recently, a thick film printing method utilizing the physical properties of the resin pigment has been developed. Therefore, this study investigates various techniques and methods of high density resin printing used in textile design, and expects various applications as basic data of textile design field by analyzing expression effect different from conventional resin printing.
