주요 물류인증 기업의 효율성 및 생산성 비교분석

A Comparative Analysis of the Efficiency and Productivity for major Certified Logistics Companies

국제적 교역량의 증대로 각국 기업의 물류비용 최소화는 기업의 중요한 경쟁력 향상 요소가 되고 있으며, 이에 따라 국가 차원에서도 물류인프라의 확충과 글로벌 물류전문기업의 육성을 통한 물류기업의 경쟁력 향상과 국제물류시장의 주도권 확보를 위한 노력을 지속하고 있다. 2000년대 들어 정부는 국내 물류기업의 글로벌 경쟁력 향상과 기업의 물류비용 절감을 통한 비용 감소로 고부가가치 산업으로의 발전을 위해 다양한 물류관련 인증 제도를 도입하였다. 그러나 정부가 시행하고 있는 각종 물류관련 인증제도가 기업의 입장에서 기업의 경쟁력을 제고시키고 생산성을 향상시키며, 더 나아가 기업의 가치 상승에 기여했는지에 대하여는 많은 의문점을 갖고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 물류관련 인증제도가 갖고 있는 문제점에 대한 인식 하에서 각종 물류관련 인증을 취득한 기업들을 대상으로 인증취득 기업의 효율성 및 생산성을 비교분석하고자 한다. 즉, 물류관련 인증의 종류에 따라 인증을 취득한 기업의 효율성과 생산성에 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고, 물류관련 인증을 취득한 기업이 인증취득을 전후하여 기업의 효율성과 생산성에 차이가 있는지 등을 살펴보고자 한다. 분석결과 인증제도간 효율성 및 생산성에는 차이가 없으며, 인증취득을 전후하여 기업들의 효율성 및 생산성의 차이도 명확하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

As a result of the increase in international trade volume, minimization of logistics cost of each company is becoming an important factor of improving competitiveness of companies. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the logistics infrastructure at the national level and to improve the competitiveness of logistics companies by fostering specialized logistics companies. In the 2000s, the government introduced various logistics-related certification systems in order to improve the global competitiveness of domestic logistics companies and to develop into high added value industries by reducing costs through reduction of logistics costs. However, there are many questions about whether the various logistics certification systems implemented by the government improve corporate competitiveness, improve productivity, and contribute to the increase of corporate value. The purpose of this study is to compare the efficiency and productivity of certified companies for companies that have acquired various logistics related certifications with the recognition of the problems of logistics related certification system. In other words, we examine whether there is a difference in the efficiency and productivity of the acquired company according to the kind of logistics related certification, and analyze whether there is a difference in the efficiency and productivity of the enterprise before and after the certification acquisition. As a result of the analysis, there was no significant difference in efficiency and productivity between certification systems, and the difference in efficiency and productivity of firms before and after certification was not clear.
