대학생의 통․번역 자원봉사 인식에 관한 연구

Since there are limited studies conducted on university students doing interpretation & translation as volunteer work, this study explores volunteer activities per field based on the existence of translation activities for a more meaningful utilization of volunteer works for university students. These students are very important human resources in terms of local community development. Volunteering is not simply aiding those who are in need, but it is all about co-existing, mutual learning and growing together. For this, respect towards human beings, which focuses on human solidarity and prevents the alienation of a person, should be firmly established. A more systematic management of the volunteer work force doing translations should be sought for, seeking accessibility and methods by providing opportunities to find what best fits them through detailed educational effects, sociality, self-realization and leisure and optimally utilizing the curriculum to learn new techniques. Moreover, accessibility towards effective volunteer translation works and education should be promoted by providing students the chances to discover their aptitudes through detailed educational effects, sociality, self-realization and leisure and utilizing the curriculum and their lingual abilities to learn new skills.
