청소년의 부모와 의사소통과 대화시간이 문제행동에 미치는 영향:

The Effect of Parent-adolescent Communication and Conversation Time on Problem Behaviors of Male Middle School Students

본 연구는 중학교 남학생이 부모와 나누는 의사소통과 대화시간이 문제행동에 미치는 영향과 그 상대적 기여도를 검증하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구는 부산시에 소재한 남자 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 240명을 대상으로 2015년 10-12월 약 2개월간 설 문조사가 이루어졌다. 자료처리에는 수집된 설문지 240부 중 불성실하게 응답된 설문지를 제외하고 177부가 사용되었다. 연구결과, 부모와의 부정적 의사소통 방식인역기능적 의사소통은 중학교 남학생의 문제행동과 정적 상관을 보였고, 긍정적 의사 소통 방식인 개방적 의사소통과 대화시간은 문제행동과 부적 상관을 보였다. 그리고 중학교 남학생의 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 상대적 기여도가 높은 변인은 부와의 의사소통이었다. 부와의 의사소통은 개방적인 의사소통과 역기능적 의사소통 모두 영향력이 높았지만, 그 중 더 영향력이 큰 변인은 부와의 역기능적 의사소통이었다. 모와 관련된 변인 중 중학교 남학생에게 영향을 미치는 변인은 모와의 대화시간이었다. 본 연구결과는 동성부모인 아버지와 나누는 의사소통이 중학교 남학생의 전반적 인 문제행동에 영향을 주며, 이성부모인 어머니 요인은 권위위반형이나 도피형 문제행동에 영향을 준다는 사실을 의미한다

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of parent-adolescent communication style and conversation time to problem behaviors of male middle school students. For sampling, the survey was conducted on 240 male middle school students at 2 male middle schools in Busan. Among the collected questionnaires, 63 questionnaires which didn’t have sufficient or credible answers was excluded, so the 177 students data was used for this study. For data processing and analysis, Pearson’s Correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression were employed to examine the hypothesis. Results indicate that parent-adolescent communication style and conversation time were significantly related to problem behaviors of male middle school students. Futhermore, dysfunctional communication in parent-adolescent communication style was significant negative related to problem behaviors, and functional communication in parent-adolescent communication style and conversation time were significant positive related to problem behaviors. The impact of dysfunctional communication in father-adolescent communication style was the largest factor, and that of conversation time with mother and functional communication in father-adolescent communication style were the next to problem behaviors of male middle school students. The results of this study proved that communication with father led to male adolescent problem behaviors. It is implicated that change of communication style between male adolescent and his father could lead to relieve male adolescent problem behaviors. Therefore, proper communication education program need to be provided to male adolescents fathers for prevention of male adolescents problem behaviors. According to these results, findings and implications are discussed.
