A recent trend that is noteworthy is the emergence of I&T education in the cyber space. Considering that I&T is also a kind of communication activity, continuous interactions and feedback between I&T teachers and learners are the key. The objective of the present study is to develop effective I&T teaching methods, curricular and textbooks incorporating the actual needs of the on-line I&T education is whether teachers can directly communicate with learners in the face-to-face mode. The on-line course analyzed in the present study has been carefully designed as a combination of theory and practice. The on-line course is a 14-week program, offering three sessions per week. Each session lasts for 25 minutes. The first two sessions are on theories and the last session is a sight translation session from Japanese to Korean. I&T theories have been actually applied to the practice of sight translation . This study confirmed the on-line I&T education in the cyber space is possible, and if extra efforts are made to develop effective lesson plans and course contents, successful I&T education in the cyber space is possible.
