대학생의 완벽주의 성향의 수준에 따른 대인관계능력과 진로성숙도 및 진로준비행동의 차이

The Differences of Interpersonal Relationship Ability, Career Maturity, and Career Preparation Behavior by Perfectionism Level of University Students

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 다차원적 관점에서의 완벽주의 성향에 따른 대인관계능력, 진로성숙도, 진로준비행동의 차이를 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 부산지역 소재 D대학교 대학생 300명에게 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 286명의 자료를 분석하였다. 대학생의 완벽주의 성향의 수준에 따른 대인관계능력과 진로태도성숙도 및 진로준비행동의 차이를 알아보기 위해 완벽주의 성향을 상, 중, 하 수준으로 범주화하였고, 수준에 따른 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구의 논의 및 결과를 바탕으로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 완벽주의 성향의 수준에 따라 대인관계능력에는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 완벽주의 성향의 수준이 높을수록 진로성숙도가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 완벽주의 성향의 수준이 높을수록 진로준비행동이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 대학생 시기의 중요한 발달과제인 진로성숙도 및 진로준비행동의 수준을 높이기 위해서는 자기 자신에게 스스로 기준을 부여하고 합리적으로 자신이나 타인에 대해 평가할 수 있도록 지속적인 관심을 갖고 지도해야 함을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the differences of interpersonal relationship ability, career maturity, and career preparation behavior by perfectionism of university students. For the purpose of the study 300 students from D university in Busan were selected and surveyed. Data from 286 students were analyzed. The perfectionism is categorized as high, middle, low using total score to examine the differences of interpersonal relationship ability, career maturity, and career preparation behavior by level of perfectionism. One-way ANOVA was conducted to examine the mean difference by level of perfectionism. The conclusions from results and discussions are as follows: First, there is no mean difference of interpersonal relationship ability by level of perfectionism. Second, there is mean difference of career maturity by level of perfectionism. Third, there is mean difference of career preparation behavior by level of perfectionism. In conclusion, to enhance career maturity and career preparation behavior of university students, we need to guide students to have reasonable level of perfectionism.
