성경 속 다문화사회의 인물 고찰

A study on the Multicultural Characters in the Bible

한국 다문화사회를 긍정적 시선으로 바라보기 위하여 성경 속 다문화사회 인물들의 삶의 모습을 고찰해 보았다. 구약의 다문화사회 인물로 유다와 다말, 요셉과 바로, 나오미와 룻과 보아스의 삶을 살펴보았고, 신약에서는 예수와 수로보니게 여인, 바울과 루디아, 베드로와 고넬료의 모습을 고찰해 보았다. 연구를 통하여 모든 인류가 하나의 이웃으로 다문화사회를 이루며 살아가는 것이 하나님의 뜻이었음을 알 수 있었다. 즉 우리는 어떠한 차별도 없이 하나의 지구에 살고 있는 형제자매 이웃임을 알게 되었다. 그러므로 모두 각자의 체면과 지위, 우월감 등을 내려놓고 서로 겸손한 자세로 함께 공존하는 다문화사회를 이루어 갈 필요가 있다. 즉 피부색, 언어, 문화, 인종 등에 차별 없이 온 인류가 서로 교류하며 조화롭게 살아가며, 한국 다문화사회의 밝은 미래를 기대할 수 있기를 바란다.

In order to view Korean multicultural society positively, I looked at the life of multicultural characters in the Bible. I saw the life of Judah, Tamar, Joseph, and Pharaoh, Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz in the multicultural society of the Old Testament, In the New Testament, I looked at the image of Jesus and the woman, Paul, Lydia, Peter, and Cornelius. Through this study, I can see that it was God’s will that all human beings could live in a multicultural society as a neighbor. So I came to know that we are brothers and sisters neighbors living on one earth without any discrimination. Therefore, all of their faces, status, superiority, and put down a modest attitude to coexist with a multi-cultural society. I hope that all human beings will interact and harmonize with each other without discrimination in color, language, culture, race, etc, and expect bright future of Korean multicultural society.
