영재 멘토링 프로그램의 특징과 S대학교 융합영재 멘토링 사례

The Characteristics of the Gifted Mentoring Program and Gifted Mentoring Case of S University

영재교육과정에 있어서 중요한 단계의 하나가 멘토-멘티 관계로 구성되는 멘토제이다. 영재들에게 적합한 멘토링 프로그램을 제공할 수 있다면 영재교육의 효과는 더 높아질 것이다. 그러나 우리나라의 다양한 형태의 영재교육에서 멘토링 프로그램을 특성화 시켜서 적용하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영재 멘토링 프로그램의 특성을 제시하고, 사례로서 S대학교 영재교육원에서 실시하고 있는 융합영재 멘토링 프로그램의 사례를 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 멘토제가 영재학생들의 영재성을 더욱 심화시킬 수 있으며 대학 내에서 각 전공별 교수들이 협력적으로 참여하는 융합 멘토링 프로그램의 적용 가능성 및 효과적인 활용에 실제적인 지침을 제공하게 될 것이라 기대한다.

One of the most important steps in the gifted education curriculum is mentor system, which are composed of mentor-mentee relationships. Gifted education will be more effective if it can provide a mentoring program suitable for the gifted. However, the mentoring program has not been applied to various types of gifted education in Korea. Therefore, this study introduce the characteristics of the gifted mentoring program and suggests the cases of the gifted mentoring program implemented by S university gifted education center. Through this study, I hope that the mentor will deepen the giftedness of the gifted students and will provide practical guidance for the applicability and the effective utilization of the confluence mentoring program in which the professors of each major in the university cooperatively participate.
