초등교사의 갈등관리 유형 연구

An Analysis of the Conflict Management Style of Korean Elementary School Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사가 관리자와의 관계 및 동료교사와의 관계에서 보이는 갈등관리 유형이 각각 어떠한가, 그리고 이러한 갈등관리 유형이 교사의 배경변인, 근무학교의 급지, 승진 가산점 부여정도에 따라 차이가 있는가를 분석하는 것이다. 연구 결과에 의하면 관리자와의 관계에서 나타나는 초등학교 교사들의 갈등관리 유형은 순응형, 타협형, 협력형, 경쟁형 순으로 높게 나타났으며 동료교사와의 관계에서 나타내는 갈등관리 유형은 협력형, 타협형, 회피형, 경쟁형, 양보형 순으로 나타났다. 그 밖에 교사의 배경, 근무학교 급지, 승진 가산점 부여 정도를 변인으로 갈등관리 유형을 분석하였다. 또한 그 결과를 바탕으로 정책적 시사점을 논의하였으며 그와 관련된 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze conflict management styles of elementary school teachers in relation with administrator and fellow teachers according to various background variables, and then look into differences in the styles from working school grade by location and extra points for teacher promotion. According to the research results, conflict management styles of elementary school teachers in relation with the administrator appeared high such like accommodative style, compromise style, collaborative style, and competitive style in order. And conflict management styles in relation with fellow teachers, collaborative style, compromise style, avoidant style, competitive style, and accommodative style were displayed in order. Based on above, this study suggested a conclusion, politic proposal on conflict management styles of elementary school teachers, and propositions related to forthcoming researches.
