The fast separation and determination of cefatrizineㆍpropylene glycol and inmpurities - TACA: 7-amino-3-(1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid and 7-ACA; 7-amino cephalosporanic acid - was performed by the high poerformance liquid chromatography using octadecyl siland (ODS) column. Methanol and ammonium phosphate buffer [0.03M(NH₄)₂ HPO₄, (pH 7.5)] was used analyze, as eluent. The experimental value of the contents of cefatrizineㆍpropylene glycol and impurities agree with the theoretical value of those.
