중국어 발음 교육과 번역 교육에 있어 漢語拼音方案활용 문제

A Study on the Use of Hanyu Pinyin in the Education of Pronunciation and Translation in the Chinese Language

Hanyu Pinyin has become the standard phonetic representation of the Chinese language in the world as well as in China. The Chinese language textbooks and dictionaries published in Korea also use Hanyu Pinyin. Many beginners in Chinese language courses express difficulties and confusion in learning Hanyu Pinyin, which all the learners of the Chinese language should study at the beginners level. If a beginner has difficulties and spends a long time in learning Hayu Pinyin, the learner will experience difficulties or delays in moving on to the next level. This article investigates difficulties caused by Hanyu Pinyin in studying the Chinese pronunciation. The difficulties are divided into three phenomena: the excessive induction of the phonemes, the omission of consonants and vowels and the same spelling for different sounds due to the conversion of the consonants and vowels of Hanyu Pinyin. My suggestions to solve the difficulties include preparation of the phonetic representation for the purpose of the Chinese language education, the revision and supplementation of Hanyu Pinyin.
