A Study of Screen Signification Translations by the Frame of Equivalence

This study focused on Screen Signification Translations because a systematic model and a strategic approach are greatly needed in the flood of imported films in today s globalized world. Such an approach can maximize the screen signification translation, and pick up the core of the most important context in essence. In this study I defined semiotic cognitive signs of screen expression in non-language and language signs. By the Frame of equivalence , the componential analysis was used to examine the strategies (e.g., exclusion of source-language redundancies and superfluities, omission, ellipsis of condensation and implication) and an equal value translation was produced. It is necessary that principal operations and phenomena should be examined in the process of screen signification translations.
