학습계약을 적용한 임상실습교육이 간호대학생의 자기주도학습, 비판적사고성향 및임상수행능력에 미치는 효과

Effects of Clinical Practice Education with Learning Contract on Self-Directed Learning, Critical Thinking Ability and Clinical Competence of Nursing Students

본 연구는 학습계약을 적용한 임상실습교육이 간호대학생의 자기주도학습, 비판적 사고성향 및 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 연구설계는 비동등성 대조군 사후시차설계에 의한 실험연구로 연구대상은 D시 소재 4년제 대학 간호학과 4학년 학생 35명이었으며 연구기간은 2014년 2월 28일부터 4월 30일까지였 다. 학습계약을 적용한 임상실습교육은 Knowles 의 학습계약서 개발 단계 가이드라인 8단계를 기반으로 구성하였으며 자기주도학습, 비판적 사고성향 및 임상수행능력을 측정하였다. 연구 결과 학습계약을 적용한 임상실습교육이 학습계약을 적용하지 않은 임상실습교육보다 자기주도학습(t=2.59, p=.014), 비판적 사고성향(t=2.55, p=.016) 및 임상수행능력(t=4.39, p<.001)을 향상시키는데 통계적으로 유의한 효과가 있었다. 간호대학생의 지역사회간호학 임상실습과 관련된 학습요구와 임상현장의 교육요구를 반영한 체계적이고 효과적인 지역사회간호학임상실습교육 프로그램 개발을 위하여 본 연구의 결과를 활용할 것을 제언한다.

The purpose of this study conducted to examine the effects of a community health nursing clinical practice course using learning contracts on undergraduate nursing students. This study was designed as nonequivalent control group posttest only non-synchronized design. The participants were 35 undergraduate nursing students from D University. Data were collected from February 28 to April 30, 2014 which were analyzed by independent t-test using PASW 18.0. Clinical practice education with learning contract was based on Knowle s 8 steps of development stage guideline. Questionnaires were used for assessment of self-directed learning, critical thinking ability, and clinical competence of nursing students. There were significant improvement in self-directed learning readiness(t=2.59, p=.014), critical thinking disposition(t=2.55, p=.016) and clinical competence(t=4.39, p<.001) in the experimental group compared to the control group. This study suggested that Clinical practice education with learning contracts improve self-directed learning, critical thinking ability and clinical competence in community health nursing on undergraduate nursing student.
