고려대본 <김희경젼>의 이본적 특징과 가치

Variant Version Characteristics and Value of KimHeeGyeongJyeon, a Version Housed by Korea University

<김희경전>은 남성 영웅 김희경을 표제로 삼았으나, 그 실상은 여성 영웅 장설 빙이 활약하는 여성영웅소설이다. 본고는 고려대본 <김희경젼>의 이본적 특징을 고찰함으로써, 가치 및 위상을 정립해보고자 한 것이다. 고려대본은 완질본 9종과 대비해보았을 때, 여주인공의 역할 및 뛰어난 능력 부각 장면이 통째로 생략되어 있다. 그리고 남녀의 결연 태도와 군담에서의 활약상을 역전시킴으로써, 남주인공이 여주인공보다 우월성을 갖도록 설정한 이본이다. 그렇다면 고려대본은 완질 필사본 중 유일하게 남성의 우월성이 표출된 이본이며, 원본 서사의 적극적 개작 형태라는 점에서 이본적 가치와 위상을 부여할 수 있다. 또 이는 후대 독자의 반감 표출이라는 향유층의 수용 방향과 관련하여 시사점을 갖는다.

KimHeeGyeongJeon was based on the male hero Kim Hee&#8208;gyeong, but it was a female heroine novel played by a female heroine, Jang Seol&#8208; bing. This study aims to establish the value and phase by examining the variant version characteristics of KimHeeGyeongJyeon, a version housed by Korea University. Compared with nine kinds of complete of KimHeeGyeongJeon, the Korea University version skips the whole role of the heroine and omits her exceptional abilities altogether. And the Korea University version is a variant version that sets the male character to be superior to the female character by reversing the relationship between the male and female partnership and the role in the military. In this case, the Korea University version is the only variant version of the manuscript in which male superiority expressed, and it can be given the value and phase as a variant version in that it is an actively adapted version of the original narrative. In addition, this suggests the direction of acceptance of the readers as the future readers’ expression of antipathy.
