텍스트 네트워크 분석을 활용한 해상테러의 연구동향 및 시사점

Text Network Analysis of Reserch Trend and Implication Related to Maritime Terror

우리나라는 지정학적 위치뿐만 아니라 남북 분단의 현실에서 국가안보적 측면에서는 물론 국민의 안전이라는 측면에서도 테러의 위험이 존재한다. 이 연구에서는 테러의 유형 중에서도 특히 해상테러에 중점을 두고 기존의 해상테러에 대한 연구동향을 텍스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 통해 살펴보았다. 해상테러의 연구동향을 확인하기 위해 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS)을 이용하여 검색된 60편의 학술논문을 이연구의 분석자료로 활용하였다. KwKwic, NetMiner 4.0 프로그램을 활용하여 해상테러 관련 연구들의 키워드를 파악하고 각각의 키워드들 간의 밀도, 연결선의 수, 중앙성 지표 등을 구하고 최종적으로 연결망 그래프 등을 통해 해상테러의 연구동향을 시각화 하였다. 분석결과 해적 , 해상테러 , 테러리즘 , 유엔해양법협약 , 해상무장강도 , 해상운송 , 국제해사기구 , 대량살상무기 등의 순으로 빈도를 확인할 수 있었고, 해상테러 관련 연구동향에 있어 해적 이라는 단어가 국내 해상테러 관련 연구에 있어 가장 핵심 단어로 도출되었다. 텍스트 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 해상테러의 연구 동향을 확인한 결과, 국내의 해상테러에 대한 연구동향은 주로 해적을 중심으로 해적행위에 대한 안전이나 보 안적 측면을 강조한 정책적 연구와 더불어 유엔해양법협약이나 SUA협약 등 국제조약에 비춰 국내 해상테러의 대응책에 대한 연구가 주를이루고 있는 것으로 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 두 가지 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 체계적인 해상테러 예방 및 대응을 위하여 해상테러 대비 교육훈련 및 대응지침 등에 대한 연구가 필요하다는 것이다. 둘째, 우리나라의 해상테러 연구 동향을 살펴본 결과 대부분 법 해석이나 문헌연구에 그치고 있어 해상테러에 대한 데이터베이 스의 구축마련이 필요하다는 점이다.

In addition to the geopolitical position of the South and the national security standpoint, there is a danger of terrorist attacks in terms of national security as well as national security. Based on the type of terrorism, This study conducted a study of the research trends on ocean terror, focusing on the methods of terror attacks, especially in the form of maritime terror. In order to verify the research trends of marine terror, the research institute analyzed 60 academic theses published by the Korea Educational Research Institute (KERIS) as an analytical data section. KwKwic, NetMiner 4.0 Program was used to identify the keywords for maritime terror related studies, calculate the number of densities, number of connections between each keyword, and finally visualize the research trends of maritime terror through network graphs, etc. The analysis shows the frequency in which the Piracy , Maritime terror , Terrorism , UN Convention on the Law of the Sea] , Maritime armed robber , marine transportation , International Maritime Organization , Weapons of mass destruction , and Maritime terror were found to be the most important words in domestic maritime terror related studies. Based on the study of maritime terrorism, the research trends on maritime terror in Korea confirmed that the study of marine terror attacks mainly focused on maritime terrorism, focusing on the safety of maritime terror, including the United Nations Marine Law Convention and the SUA Treaty of Geneva, which focused mainly on the safety and security aspects of maritime terrorism. Based on these findings, two implications were derived. First, it is necessary to study the training and countermeasures for education and countermeasures against maritime terrorism in order to prevent systematic maritime terrorism and countermeasures.Second, the survey of the nation s maritime terror research shows that it is necessary to establish a database of marine terror attacks because of the lack of forensic and literary studies.
