이사야서에서 선포된 “yAh” 신탁의 신학적 의미에 대한 고찰

Study on the theological meaning of “yAh” oracle proclaimed in the Book of Isaiah

이사야서 안에서 21번 언급되는 히브리어 “yAh”는 주로 이스라엘 백성과 그 지도자들 그리고 이방 민족들을 대상으로 선포된다. 무엇보다도 이 용어는 피조물에 불과하면서도 창조주 하느님과 동등한 위치를 차지하려는 그들의 교만한 생각과 위선적인 행동에 대한 하느님의 심판을 상징하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이사야서 55장에서 선포된 마지막 “yAh” 신탁은 그 이전에 언급된 “yAh” 본문들과 긴밀하게 연결되면서 하느님의 용서와 자비로운 초대로 귀결되고 있다. 이 초대에 대한 첫 번째 응답은 바로 ‘주님을 찾고 부르는 것’(이사 55,6)이다.

The Hebrew word “yAh”, which is mentioned 21 times in the Book of Isaiah, is mainly proclaimed to the people and leaders of Israel and the Gentiles. Above all, this word signifies God’s judgment against their arrogant thinkings and hypocritical behaviors that to obtain the same position as God the Creator, even though they are nothing but the mere creatures. Nevertheless, the last “yAh” oracle in Isaiah Chapter 55, which is closely linked to previously mentioned “yAh”, came to be a conclusion as to God’s forgiveness and his merciful invitation. The first answer to this invitation is “Seek the Lord and call Him”(Is. 55,6).
