대안학교 학생의 교사만족도에 대한 내러티브 탐구

A Narrative Inquiry on Alternative School Students’ Satisfaction with Teachers

본 연구는 대안학교 학생들이 다양한 학교생활을 하는 데에 있어서 특히 교사에 대한 만족도를 알아보려고 한다. 대안학교 학생들이 교사에 대해 어느 정도 만족하고 있는지를 학생들의 이야기를 통해서 이해하는, 즉 내러티브 방식은 대안학교 학생들의 만족도를 실증적으로 확인하도록 돕는다. 이 방식은 3개의 대안학교를 선정하여 2년 이상 대안학교에 다닌 학생들을 만나서 그들의 이야기를 직접 들어보고, 이러한 학생들의 이야기를 해석하여 그 의미를 밝히는데 유용하다. 이에 본 연구는 내러티브 탐구방법을 채택하여 연구 참여자인 대안학교 학생들의 현장 경험이야기를 분석하고자 한다. 그래서 본 연구는 이를 활용하여 학생들이 생활하고 있는 현장에서 특히 교사들에 대해 살펴보고 이를 토대로 그들의 현장경험을 분석하고 해석함으로써 교사만족도를 알아보았다. 결론적으로 교사만족도에 대한 내러티브 탐구 결과 대안학교의 교사만족도가 매우 높게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 첫째, 대안교육에 대해 살펴보고, 둘째, 내러티브 탐구란 어떤 것인지에 대해 알아보고, 셋째, 연구방법으로 연구 참여자를 선정하고 자료수집과 자료 분석과 해석을 어떻게 해야 하는지를 알아보고, 마지막으로 내러티브 탐구결과를 통해서 대안학교의 교사만족도를 알아보는 순서로 이루어진다.

This thesis aims at looking into satisfaction with teachers of alternative school students who make various school livings. The narrative method, the method for alternative school students to understand through their narrations how much they understand teachers, helps confirm alternative school students’ satisfaction positively. This method selected three alternative schools, and met the students and directly listened to their stories, targeting at those who enrolled the schools for longer than two years. So, the method is useful for comprehending the students’ stories and clarifying meanings. This thesis selected the narrative method and analyzed field experiences of the alternative school students who participated in studies. So this thesis, by using the analyses, looked into the teachers expecially in the fields where students made their livings, and basing on it, analysed and interpreted their experiences in fields, and looked into satisfaction with teachers. This thesis found out that as a result of narrative inquiry on satisfaction with teachers, the satisfaction with alternative school teachers were high. This thesis first, looked into alternative education, second looked into what narrative inquiry was, and third, as a method of study, selected the participants in study and looked into the methods to analyze and comprehend materials, and at last, looked into satisfaction with teachers of alternative schools through narrative inquiry.
