공공도서관의 실내 공간구성요인이 이용자 만족에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Space Configuration Factors of the Public Library upon the User Satisfaction

본 연구는 실내 공간 구성 요인들이 이용자의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 하기 위해 공공도서관의 공간에 대해 연구된 논문과 자료를 바탕으로 공간 구성 항목을 도출하고, 연구 모형을 설정하여 공공도서관 이용 경험자를 대상자로 설문조사를 실시해서 그 결과를 통계적으로 분석하였다. 공간 구성 요인 문항의 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 ‘전체 공간 요인‘, 자료 공간 요인’, ‘열람 공간 요인’, ‘디자인 공간 요인’, ‘물리적 공간 요인’ 등 다섯 개의 요인으로 분류되었고, 이 다섯 개의 요인에 대해 경로분석 모형을 통한 검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 도서관 공간 요인 중 자료 공간 요인과 물리적 공간 요인이 전반적 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 자료 공간 요인 또는 물리적 공간 요인에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 전반적 만족도도 높아지는 것으로 판단되었다.

In order to investigate the effect of indoor space factors on users satisfaction, this study derived spatial composition items based on the papers and data on public library space. In addition, a research model was set up and a questionnaire survey was conducted to those who experienced using public libraries, and then the results were analyzed statistically. In the exploratory factor analysis of the spatial constituent factors, five factors were classified as total space factor , data space factor , reading space factor , design space factor and physical space factor The results of this study are as follows As a result, data space factors and physical space factors have a significant effect on overall satisfaction among library space factors In other words, the higher the satisfaction with data space factor or physical space factor, the higher the overall satisfaction level.
