아버지가 인식한 양육참여에 따른 부부 공동양육과 유아의 놀이성 간의 관계

Relations between Father’s Co-Parenting, Childcare Involvement and Young Children’s Playfulness

본 연구의 목적은 아버지가 인식한 양육참여 정도에 따라 부부 공동양육과 유아의 놀이성은 어떠한 관계가 있는 가 살펴보는 것이다. 인천지역의 만 3∼5세 유아를 둔 아버지와 그 유아가 다니는 유아교육기관의 담임교사를 대상으로 하였다. 아버지의 양육참여도를 측정하기 위해 이영환, 조복희, 이진숙(1999)의 아버지의 양육참여 하위척도를 수정하여 사용하였고, 아버지의 부부 공동양육을 알아보기 위해 Merrifield(2009)의 부부 공동양육척도를 번역한 박잎새(2011)의 도구를 수정하여 사용하였다. 유아의 놀이성향을 측정하기 위해 Barnett(1991)의 유아의 놀이성 척도(Children’s Playfulness Scale)를 번역한 유애열(1994)의 도구를 사용하였다. SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 자료 분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 자녀가 남아인 경우 아버지가 더 많이 양육에 참여한다고 인식하였으 며, 자녀의 나이가 만 3세 유아와 만 5세인 경우에 아버지들이 지지적 부부 공동양육태도를 더 많이 보였다. 양육에 많이 참여한다고 인식한 아버지 집단의 자녀가 인지적 놀이성과 즐거움을 많이 보였다. 아버지가 인식한 양육참여와 부부 공동양육에는 상호 간 긍정적인 관계가 있었지만, 놀이성 과는 아무런 관계가 나타나지 않았다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among perception of father’s childcare involvement, co-parenting, and child’s playfulness. The subjects of this study were three and fiveyear-old, kindergarten children’s fathers who lived in Incheon and their children’s teachers. A questionnaire was used and analyzed by mean, standared deviation, Cronbach’s α, t-test, ANOVA, and Person’s correlation. Results were as followed. First, fathers who had son were more participated in childcare involvement. Secondly, fathers who had three- year- old children and five-year- old children showed more supportive co-parenting than four-year- old children. Thirdly, the children in more active fathers’ group of childrencare involvement showed more cognitive spontaneity playfulness. On the contrary, the children in less active fathers’ group of childrencare involvement showed more manifest joy. Fourthly, there were significant relationship between perception of father’s childcare involvement and co-parenting, but there was no significant relationship between perception of father’s childcare involvement and child’s playfulness or co-parenting and child’s playfulness.
