This study examined the non-linear effects of entrepreneurial orientation (EO), such as innovativeness, proactiveness and risk-taking, on the international performance of Korean business ventures. Previous research studies started to examine those different effects, but there is no agreement or any consistent findings among literature sources. Thus, a more comprehensive research is required to summarize and compare the relationships between the sub-categories of EO and international performance of business ventures. To this end, current research was designed to examine those non-linear relationships between sub-categories of EO and international performance. The results of the hierarchical regression analysis with 1,896 samples of Korean business ventures showed that the relationships between innovativeness and international performance are U-shaped relationships, but the relationships between proactiveness and international performance were proven to be positive and linear. Yet, there were neither positive nor non-linear relationships between risk-taking and international performance. These findings indicate that the relationships between EO and international performance are mixed, and thus a more research required examining the true relationship between EO and international performance.
