문화재 보존 및 활용을 위한 CPTED 적용 방안에 관한 연구

A Study on the Application of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design for the Cultural Properties Conservation and Promotion

본 연구의 목적은 문화재 정비계획 및 보존관리에 관한 지침과 기준을 분석하여 문화재 보존 및 활용을 위해 적용 가능한 CPTED 요소를 도출하고 중요도를 분석하는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우선 문화재 정비계획 및 보존관리 지침과 기준에서 CPTED 관련 내용을 조사하여 CPTED 5가지 원리인 자연적 감시, 자연적 접근통제, 영역성 강화, 활용성 증대, 유지 관리에 입각한 24개의 문화재 CPTED 요소를 도출하였다. 이후 문화재 행정, 현장관리, 계획 및 설계, 보수등 96명의 전문가 집단 설문을 수행하여 적용가능성과 중요도를 평가하였다.

This study was aimed at reviewing the patterns of crime in regard to the cultural properties, and thereupon, analyzing the guidelines and criteria for their maintenance plan and conservation & management, and thereby, determine the factors of the CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) applicable to their conservation and presentation, while assessing their importance. First of all, this study surveyed the details of CPTED in reference to the Guideline and Criteria for the Comprehensive Maintenance and Conservation & Management for the Cultural Properties, and thereupon, determined 24 factors of CPTED based on its 5 principles: natural surveillance, natural control of access, reinforcement of the territoriality, enhancement of availability and maintenance & management. Then, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 96 experts at administration, spot management, planning and design, maintenance, etc., to evaluate the applicability and importance of each CPTED factor.
