보육교사의 교수몰입도 분석: 사회인구학적 변인과 직무만족도의 영향력 검증을 중심으로

The effects of demographic variables and job satisfaction on teaching flow among early child care teachers

본 연구는 보육교사의 교수몰입도를 살펴보고, 그들의 사회인구학적 변인과 직무만족도가 교수몰 입도에 미치는 영향력을 밝히고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2개 광역시와 2개도에 소재한 어린이집 교사 291명이 교사몰입척도와 직무만족도척도에 응답한 자료를 수집하여, SPSS for win. 통계프로 그램으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 보육교사의 교수몰입도는 다소 긍정적인 경향을 나타내었으 며, ‘반응’과 ‘조절’에서 더 높았다. 둘째, 보육교사의 근무기관 변인인 급여와 개인 변인인 학력, 소지자격, 경력에 따라 교수몰입도에 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 보육교사의 교수몰입도는 직무만족도와 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 넷째, 보육교사의 교수몰입도는 직무만족도 중 ‘동료에 대한 만족도’와 ‘일과 발전기회에 대한 만족도’, 개인적 변인인 경력에 특히 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 보육교사의 교수활동을 지원하기 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how demographic variables, and job satisfaction influenced teaching flow among early child care teachers. Participants were 291 early child care teachers who were recruited from 2 metropolitan cities and 2 provinces in Korea. The participants completed the scales of demographic variables, job satisfaction, and teaching flow. The data was analyzed using SPSS for Win. The results of this study as follows. First, the level of teaching flow of early child care teachers was a little high. In specific, teachers’ teaching flow was relatively high in ‘Response’ and ‘Moderation’. Second, the results of this study showed that there were significant differences in teaching flow according to teachers’ salary, academic background, certification, and work experience. Third, teaching flow was closely associated with job satisfaction. Finally, teaching flow was influenced by ‘Colleague satisfaction’, ‘Satisfaction at work and opportunities for improvement’, and work experience. The implications of these findings are discussed in terms of support teaching among early child care teachers.
