The Impact of Urbanization and Climate Change Scenario on Urban Flood Damage

The study aims to conduct impact that urbanization and climate change scenario has on flood damage in urban areas. The study works with the following hypotheses, it assumes that in describing the impact of urbanization and precipitation on flood damage, a exponential linear model is more appropriate than a classical linear model. An analysis of the hypotheses that used a statistical analysis model has resulted in the following. It has inferred through the analysis that the exponential linear model is more appropriate in identifying the impact of urbanization and precipitation on flood damage. The study works with the result, it assume that urban flood loss in the future by urbanization and climate change scenario. Ultimately, these study will suggest efforts to mitigate urbanization and climate change.
