Sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (sCJD) is fatal prion disease typically characterized by rapid progressive dementia often associated with various movement disorders such as myoclonus and ataxia. However, atypical manifestations and varied clinical courses make timely diagnosis of sCJD difficult. Here we describe probable sCJD patients with gait disturbance and early falling as an initial clinical manifestations mimicking progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP).
