중도입국학생의 공교육 진입 지원을 위한 교육 계획 분석 : 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 활용하여

A Study on the Education Plan to Support Migrant Students’ Entry to Public School Using Network Text Analysis

이 연구는 중도입국학생의 ‘공교육 진입’을 위해 계획된 학교 교육 내용 특성을 파악 하고자 2016년 다문화 예비학교로 지정된 68개 초등학교와 46개 중등학교의 교육계 획서를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 일차적으로 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 실시하였고, 보완 적으로 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 초․중등 다문화 예비학교 교육 계획에서 공통 적으로 ‘한국어’, ‘문화’, ‘상담’, ‘강사’가 출현 빈도가 높고 의미 구성에 영향력이 큰핵심어로 나타났다. 이를 통해 학교에서는 ‘한국어 능력’과 ‘문화 적응력’이 중도입국학 생의 학교생활 적응의 주요 요인으로 인식되고 있고, 상담이 중요한 교육 활동으로 계획 되고 있으며, 예비학교 교육 활동에서 강사 활용 비중이 높다는 점을 확인하였다. ‘특별 학급’, ‘통합’, ‘일반학급’은 중등보다 특별학급 개설 학교 수가 더 많은 초등에서 상위 핵심어인데, 이는 특별학급과 일반학급 간의 통합 교육에 관한 내용이 비중있게 다루어 지고 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 중도입국학생을 위한 현장 교육 지원 방안을 제언하였다.

his study aims to explore the characteristics of the school education plan for migrant students who have different linguistic and cultural backgrounds from other students. For this, the education plans established by the 68 elementary schools and 46 middle and high schools designated as multicultural prep schools were analyzed through a network text analysis method. This study found that the key words ‘Korean language’, ‘culture’, ‘counseling’ and ‘part-time instructor’ emerged with high frequency and degree centrality in the education plans of middle and high schools, as well as the elementary schools. As a result of this data, ‘Korean language ability’and ‘cultural adaptation’are identified as key elements in school education plans. One can also conclude that counseling is a significant activity and that part-time instructors play a large role in the activity of migrant students. Additionally, in schools running these special classes, the connection between special and normal classes might be a crucial matter. These findings can provide a basis when forming policies for the management of prep schools concerning multicultural education.
