본 연구는 액션러닝 기반 역량 증진 프로그램이 특수교사의 문제행동중재에 대한 인식 증진에 미 치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 B시 소재 특수교육기관에 재직 중인 교사 29명에게 4개월 간 문제행동중재를 위한 액션러닝 프로그램을 구안하여 실제 적용하였다. 또한 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 프로그램 실행 전과 후에 문제행동중재에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 조사하여 변화추이 를 비교하였으며, 전체 과정에 대한 참여자의 만족도, 참여자가 작성한 프로그램 전반에 대한 성찰일지 를 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 본 프로그램의 적용을 통해 특수교사의 문제행동중재에 대한 인식이 통계 적으로 유의미한 수준으로 향상되었다. 둘째, 특수교사가 작성한 성찰일지를 분석한 결과 참여자가 액션 러닝 기반 문제행동중재 역량 증진 프로그램의 효과를 체감하고 이에 만족하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 향후 문제행동중재와 관련한 특수교사 연수 프로그램으로 활용할 수 있는 실제적 방안 에 대하여 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of action learning-based competence improvement program on special education teachers’ perception on intervention for problem behavior of students with disabilities. For this purpose, a four-month action learning program with 29 special education teachers was conducted. In order to verify the effectiveness of the action learning program, a questionnaire survey on the behavioral interventions of the special teacher before and after the execution of the program was conducted and the change trends were verified. As well, to explore the participants’ satisfaction on the whole process, the reflection journal of special education teachers was analyzed. The results of this study were as follows: First, the problem-solving ability of special teachers was improved to statistically significant level by application of this program. Second, by analyzing the reflection journal prepared by the special teacher, it was confirmed that the participants were satisfied with the effect of the action learning to enhance problem behavior intervention competence. Therefore, the program applied in this study could be regarded as an effective program that can be used as a special teacher training program related to problem behavior intervention in the future.
