This paper deals with Mongolian and Korean cooperation in Education field and Korean language education in Mongolia. Historically, Korean language has been taught in higher education since 1991 in Mongolia and currently, 15 universities and institutions, about 10 secondary schools are conducting Korean language programs. In this paper, current situation of Korean language education is taken into consideration in three main directions including curriculums, textbooks and evaluation system in Mongolia. Also few issues of Korean language education to be taken are raised. For example, to enrich content and type of curriculum based on the learner’s demand, to develop textbook and teaching materials suitable for an age, major and interest of the learner on the basis of the previous achievement of the project developing textbook and to create integrated evaluation mechanism preventing evaluation system from becoming ultimate TOPIK oriented evaluation system.
