태국의 한국어 교육 현황과 발전 방안

The present state of the Korean education in Thai and development strategies.

This study aims to examine the present state situation of Korean Education in Thailand and suggest its future development strategies. In 2015, 10 universities have bachelor’s degree curricula of Korean Studies in Thailand. In addition to that, 51 Thai local middle and high schools have started Korean as a second language class, also it’s been on going teaching Korean Language to children of overseas Koreans in Korean schools in 4 different regions. Moreover, dispatching Industry Trainee in Asian countries in 2009, establishing Sejong Hakdang in 2010, and starting Korean as a second language class in Thai local middle and high schools in 2011 have increased the demands of Korean Language Education in Thailand. For the most part, the purpose of this study is to inspect Korean educations in Thailand and its development strategies.
