일 본 의 「문자•활자문화진흥법」과 관련하여

일본은 문화 • 활자 문화 진흥법을 제정하여, 문화 이탈한상을 방 폐 고 문화 • 활자 문화를 진흥시키고자 히였다. 이 법은 문자 • 활자의 중요성과 문화 • 활자 문화를 진흥시켜야 하는 국가의 책무를 천명하고 있다. 우리나라도 이와 유사한 법률인 도서관및독서진흥법을 입법한 바 있다. 그러나 문자 • 활자의 쇠퇴와 함께, 우리 문화와 민주주의의 발전에 있어 문자와 활자가 갖는 역할을 다시금인식하여야 할 것이다. 이에 본고에서는 일본 문자 • 문화 활자진흥법에 대하여 소개하고자 하였다.
