화랑·선비정신과 격대교육의 재조명

A study on the Gyeokdae(隔代) Education, Hwarng and Sonbi(confucian scholars) Spirit

As family structure has changed dramatically from extended family to nuclear family, traditional moral values have been weakened and various problems on family have been created. Thus, this study focus on the today’s adolescent identity and traditional culture education with considering Hwarangdo’s educational idea and the Sonbi(Confucian scholars) culture that emphasizes the idea of hyochin(孝親). And the implications of ethical education will offer the following points. First, it is possible to solve the problem of the elderly, junior, and household through the recovery of family members. Second, we can succeed in communicating with the younger generation and conducting the education of teenagers through the education of their grandparents through Gyeokdae(隔代) education. Finally, the elderly can identify their identity and create a sense of alienation.
