글로벌 네트워킹을 위한 비즈니스 지향 사물인터넷 전문 인력 양성을 위한 커리큘럼 모델 개발

Developing a Curriculum Model for Fostering Business-oriented IoT (Internet of Things) Professionals for Global Networking

최근 정보통신기술 융합을 통한 사물인터넷 서비스 기획, 개발, 활용은 산업계와 학계의 많은 관심 대상이다. 사물인터넷에 대한 이해를 위해서는 공학적 관련 지식과 비즈니스 관련 지식이 필요하다. 현재 비즈니스 지향 사물인터넷 교육을 위한 체계적인 커리큘럼이 개발되어 있지 않는 실정이다. 이에 따라 사물인터넷 교육 활성화를 위한 체계적인 커리큘럼 개발이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 AIS (Association for Information Systems), ACM (association for computing machinery), IEEE (the Computer Society of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 및 기타 교육기관에서 제안하는 사물인터넷 커리큘럼 모델을 검토하였다. 이들 사물인터넷 커리큘럼 모델은 대부분 컴퓨터공학 (Computer Engineering), 컴퓨터과학 (Computer Science), 정보시스템 (Information Systems), 정보기술 (Information Technology), 소프트웨어 공학 (Software Engineering), 다학제 분야 (Multidisciplinary field)의 신기술 관련 커리큘럼에 토대를 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 이론적 토대를 기반으로 비즈니스 지향 사물인터넷 교육 커리큘럼 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 비즈니스 지향 사물인터넷 커리큘럼 모델은 향후 기업에서 요구하는 전문 인력 양성에 도움을 제공할 것이다.

Recently, the planning, development and utilization of IoT (Internet of Things) services through ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology) convergence are the object of great interests to both industry and academia. To understand the IoT, the researchers and practitioners need engineering related knowledge and business related knowledge. In order to activate of education of market-oriented IoT, a model of systematic IoT curriculum is needed. In this study, for developing a IoT curricula, we examine various computing curriculum models suggested by AIS (Association for Information Systems), ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), IEEE (Computer Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and other educational institutions. Most of previous curriculum models are related various curriculums of computer engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering, and multidisciplinary field. In this study, we propose a market-oriented IoT curriculum model based on the theoretical foundation and market requirements. This market-oriented IoT curriculum model proposed in this study will help to nurture the workforce required by various IoT enterprise in the future.
