Relationships between Peer Attachment, Peer Acceptance, and Problematic Behavior in Korean Adolescents

The purpose of this study was to identify the levels and to analyze their correlations of peer attachment, peer acceptance, and problematic behavior in Korean adolescents. The subjects were 407 middle and high school students. Data were collected through structured questionnaire from October 1 to 30 ， 2013, and analyzed with PASW Window version 20.0 program. As a result, first, the subjects won 3.80 ， 2.72 and 2.83 among 1 to 5 points in peer attachment, peer acceptance, and problematic behavior. Second, relationship between peer attachment and problematic behavior showed a statistically significant negative correlations. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as basic data for focusing on the importance of the creation of correct peer culture in terms of school education in making policies for solving Korean adolescent issues.
