The purpose of this study is to suggest that evidence-based clinical guideline for the developing flexibility and inspiratory muscle function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The flexibility exercise was described with chest mobilization, stretching of inspiratory accessory muscles, electrical muscular stimulation, and yoga in the previous studies. The inspiratory muscle training was informed with flow resistance inspiratory muscle trainer, and threshold inspiratory muscle trainer in the earlier studies. The flexibility exercise and inspiratory muscle training exercise are significant components for pulmonary physical therapy in patients with COPD. Further study of effective using in these methods should be followed to develop in section of pulmonary physical therapy for the patients with COPD.
