A New Interpretation of Algorithms of Bradley-Terry Model using Concave-Convex Procedure

Given m players in competition, the Bradley-Terry model is used to estimate player s abilities. In this paper, we show that the traditional estimating equation can be reinterpreted using the state-of-the-art algorithm, concave-convex procedure. From this view, we can estimate general Bradley-Terry model easily. We validate the proposed algorithm using the result of Korean Baseball league in 2009 year.
