데이터 유출 방지를 위한 USB DLP 기법에 관한 연구

A Study on USB DLP Techniques for Unauthorized Data Access

기업 내부에서 처리되는 정보량은 급속하게 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 기업 내부의 기밀 데이터를 탈취하기 위한 악의적인 공격으로 인해 정보 유출 사고가 지속적으로 확산되고 있다. 따라서 기업 내부의 정보를 보호하기 위해 다양한 기술적 대책들이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 USB를 매개로 하는 기밀 데이터의 정보 유출을 방지 하기 위해 USB를 통한 파일의 저장, 이동, 복사 등의 작업을 수행할 경우 해당 파일에 기 정의된 기밀 데이터의 포함 여부를 분석하여 기밀 데이터 유출을 차단하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 실시간으로 정보 유출을 차단하여 업무 생산성 손실 없이 보안 목표를 달성할 수 있으며 로그 기록을 통한 감사 추적을 수행할 수 있다.

According to the rapid increase in tne amount of enterprise data, illegal accesses to sensitive enterprise information with malicious hacking attempts continues to generate the information disclosure widely. Therefore various technical approaches have been researched in order to protect the confidential enterprise information. In this paper, we propose a data loss prevention scheme over USB to handle unauthorized data accesses that can prevent save, move, copy operations from the disclosure of predefined sensitive data in tiles. Our proposed method can achieve security objectives with no decrease in business productivity through real-time information prevention technique, and can provide audit trail by event logs.
