연잎 추출물로부터 항산화효과 물질의 분리 및 동정

Lotus(Nelumbo Nucifera GAERT) leaf has been used traditionally for making tea, Kimchi and rice by buddhist temples and peoples. This paper describes the isolation and structural elucidation of antioxidant substance from lotus(Nelumbo Nucifera GAERT) leaf and the evaluation of their activity for the use of health food resources. 70% Ethanol extract of lotus (Nelumbo Nucifera GAERT) leaf showed strong antioxidant activity and was further fractionated with various solvent serially by increasing polarity. The ethyl acetate fraction showed the highest antioxidant activity both with antimicrobial activity. The active substance from the fraction were isolated and purified through silicagel column chromatography and further by TLC and HPLC. The structure of the compound was analyzed by GC-MS and the result showed the novel compound as mitoflaxone.
