텅스텐(IV) 헥사카르보닐을 4-아미노-3,5,6-트리클로로 피콜린산, 2-메르갚토 피리미딘을 1:3:3의 몰비로 반응시켜 새로운 8-배위 텅스텐(IV) 착물들을 합성하였으며, 이들의 구조를 분광학적 방법 및 원소 분석등에 의하여 확인하였다.
The novel eight-coordinated tungsten(IV) complexes have been synthesized from the 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid(apic), 2-mercaptopyrimidine(mpd) and tungsten hexacarbonyl at a mole ratio of 3:3:1, respectively. Structure of the complexes was determined by the spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis.
