스마트 폰의 사용이 대중화 되면서 사용자의 보안성을 위협하는 요소도 증가하고 있다. 스마트 폰 화면 잠금 기능은 스마트 폰이 악의적인 공격자에게 탈취된 경우나 분실한 경우에 대비해 사용자의 접근 권한을 제한하는 아주 중요한 보안 기능이다. 본 논문에서는 개인 PIN 번호나 패턴 인식을 이용한 화면 잠김 기능들은 공격자의 전사 공격(exhaustive attack)이나 사전 공격(dictionary attack) 등에 의해 비밀 정보가 노출되는 취약점이 있음을 컴퓨터 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

as the usage of smart phone is tx>pular, some senous threats on security of the user is also increasing. Since the screen lock function is used as a preparedness when the smart phone is stolen or lost, it is an important security mean to guarantee access control service to authorized user. In this paper, we analyzed the security threats on screen lock functions using personal PIN and pattern recognition. As a result o f computer experiments, we found that the secret information o f these screen lock functions would be leaked by the exhaustive attack or dictionary attack.
