Theological Tendencies of the Manuscripts in 1 Peter

이 논문의 목적은 베드로전서 사본의 신학적 경향을 분석하는 것이다. GNT5의 비평장치에 의하면 36개 본문이 본문비평 대상이다. 그런데 하등비평에 속하는 본문비평은 무신학적인가? 사본 필사자들은 본문을 신학적 해석을 했기에 ‘서기관-신학자’라 불렸다. 신학적 경향을 파악하려면 위에서 언급한 36본문을 내적-외적 증거를 고려하여 본문비평을 수행해야 한다. 그 다음 사본에 대한 통계적 분석이 필요하다. 마지막으로 파피루스/대문자 사본, 소문자사본, 그리고 성구집으로 나누어 세 가지 신학적 경향을 제안한다. 후대 사본은 원본을 다양한 이유로 변경했다. 3-4세기 사본들은 원본을 첨가하거나 삭제했지만, 원본의 신학적 경향을 비교적 잘 보존한다. 소문자 사본은 기독론과 성령론을 상술하기 위해서 확장한다. 성구집은 예배 목적에 맞추어 원본을 변경한다. 파피루스와 B는 원본을 첨가하고 삭제하는데 가장 경미하다. 덧붙여 하나의 사본은 다른 서신들에 서 다른 신학적 경향을 보인다.

The aim of this paper is to analyze theological tendencies of the manuscripts in 1 Peter. The manuscripts include papyri, uncials, minuscules, ancient versions, and lectionaries. According to the critical apparatus in GNT 5, 36 texts are shown which need textual criticism. To find the theological trends in the manuscripts in 1 Peter, textual criticism of the above mentioned 36 texts is done by considering both the external and internal evidence. Then, statistical analysis of the manuscripts is done. Finally, three theological trends are suggested in terms of papyri/uncials, minuscules, and lectionaries. Later manuscripts changed the original text for multiple reasons, namely phonetic, Christological, Pneumatological, doxological, ecclesiastical, liturgical, intertextual (especially under Pauline influence) purposes. While manuscripts in the 3rd-4th centuries were not free from the omissions and additions, they appear to preserve well the theological trends of the original text. Minuscules, namely Majority Text, extend the original text to explain Christology and Pneumatology in detail. Lectionaries change the original text to adjust their liturgical purpose and milieu. Papyri and codex B seem to be the best manuscripts in 1 Peter, because they are relatively free from the additions and omissions of the original text. In addition, one manuscript shows different theological trends in different epistles.
