어머니의 창의적 문제해결력, 놀이성, 유아의 창의적 행동특성 간의 관계에서 양육효능감의 매개효과 분석

Relationships among Mother’s Creative Problem Solving, Playfulness, Parenting Efficacy and Children’s Creative behavior

본 연구는 어머니의 창의적 문제해결력, 놀이성, 유아의 창의적 행동특성 간의 관계에서 양육효능감의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도에 거주하면서 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 420명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며 자료 분석은 구조방정식모형을 사용하 였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 어머니의 창의적 문제해결력과 놀이성은 유아의 창의적 행동특성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며 양육효능감만 유아의 창의적 행동특성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 창의적 문제해결력과 놀이성은 어머니의 양육효능감에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 창의적 문제해결력과 놀이성은 어머 니의 양육효능감을 매개로 하여 유아의 창의적 행동특성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유아의 창의적 행동 증진과 관련한 어머니의 역할을 위한 방안을 제시하고 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

This study aimed to examine relationships among mother’s creative problem solving, playfulness, parenting efficacy and children’s creative behavior. For the purpose, data was collected from mothers of young children, who lived in Gyeonggi province(n=420). The data was analyzed by Structual Equation Modeling(SEM). Results revealed that first, mother’s creative problem solving and playfulness had no direct effects on children’s creative behavior. Mother’s parenting efficacy mediated the relationship between mother’s creative problem solving and children’s creative behavior, and also playfulness too. The implications of these findings are discussed, expecially focusing on the ways to improve children’s creative behavior.
