Our on-going research regarding a selection signal on 2+2 dynamic driving scheme (DDS) was designed for applying a cholesteric liquid crystal display (Ch-LCD) panel. Sub-signal of pre-selection and post-selection between selection signal on the composite driving scheme were also introduced to improve scan rate and gray capability. With the combination of sub-signal (pre-selection, post-selection and evolution) and modified propagation voltage, more than 10 gray scale capability at 27.8 V was achieved.
