Gray Scale of a Dynamic Driving for LCD by Composite Scheme

A signal modulation effect including selection signal on 2+2 dynamic driving scheme (DDS) was designed for applying a reflective cholesteric liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. Pre- and post-selection signals between both sides of selection signal on the composite driving scheme were also introduced to improve scan rate and gray capability. With the combination of selection, pre- and post-selection and evolution, Vpeak (max. dnving voltage) was achieved at 27.8 V with gray capability.
