CAD/CAM 기술의 활용사례에 관한 연구 - 90년대 현대건축물을 중심으로

A Study on the Contemporary Architecture based on the CAD/CAM Technology； Focused on Curved form Buildings during the 1990s

This study is for the ever-growing field of computer-aided design and manufacturing(CAD/CAM), as it is particularly related to digital design process. The use of this technologies has had a liberating effect on the architectural design in complex form buildings since 1990. Implicit in CAD/CAM technology are paradigms for interactions among design concept, representation and construction activities. The paper reviews several comtemporary curved-form buildings of 90 s as a way of understanding how newer developments in design automation and explore the recent initiatives in the use of CAD/CAM technologies, by the analysis method of the digital design process concept—representation-construction ，which is an underlying premise of this study.
