Program Development for EmDedded HMI System

We describe the development of embedded HMI system which can effectively control and monitor FA equipments. The HMI system is composed of an operating program that accesses data from the equipment and manages them and an authoring program that designs and edits the HMI screen on the PC environment. The edited HMI tags on the screen is previously tested by simulation program and animation function is reinforced with reality to display the operating status of the equipment. As we implement the requirements for OPC-based HMI system, this system is expected too apply to Web-based monitoring and home automation as well as manage the standardized data.
