Bacillus cereus SH -7 이 분비하는 단백질 분해효소의 정제

Purification of Bacillus cereus SH-7 Extracellular Protease

Bacillus cereus SH-7 which secretes extracellular protease was screened from Doen-Jang, a traditional soybean fermented food in Korea. A protease was purified from the supernatant of Bacillus cereus SH-7 cultured for 18 h by DEAE Sepharose CL-6B anion exchange chromatograpy and Sepadex G-75 gel filtration. The purified Bacillus cereus SH-7 protease was shown to have molecular weight of 120 kDa and three homogeneous subunits. The protease was most active at pH 7 and 30 °C, and stable at pH 7~10 and 20~ 40°C when casein was used as a substrate .
