유아기 영재의 판별 쟁점과 일반교사에 의한 판별 방안

While early identification of the gifted is very important in social aspects as well as the individual s self-actualization, there has been little attention on the identification of gifted kindergarteners. This study attempted to suggest the direction of early identification of the gifted through reviewing relevant literatures on the issues of identification, need for early identification of gifted children and difficulties of early identification. Also, in the perspective that early identification of young gifted should be started or implemented in the main-streaming setting, this study aimed to introduce the merits and principles of teacher identification in the general classroom. Examples of identification methods that general teachers can utilize were described.
