욥기의 일관된 읽기를 위한 제언

A Integral Reading of the Book of Job through Hermeneutic Comments on Job 2:11-3:26

욥기는 “두 얼굴” 의 욥을 소개한다. 한 얼굴은 1:1-2:10까지의 의로운 신앙적 영웅의 모습이며 또 다른 얼굴은 3:1-31:40까지의 항변하는 인간적인 고뇌자의 모습이다. 본 논문의 2:11-3:26의 연구는 의로운 신앙자 욥의 갑작스런 생일저주와 독설들을 앞 선 1-2장과의 관계에서 어떻게 일관되게 이해할까를 고민하고 있다. 해당 본문의 주석에 있어서 주안점은 2:11-13의 침묵과 3:1-26의 독설을 하나로 읽는 일이다. 심리학적인 고통의 단계들에 대한 설명과 더불어 성서학적인 차원에서 수 사비 평적 욥기 읽기의 (rhetorical critical reading of the Book of Job) “울타리” 개념 을 통하여 욥의 관습적 고백으로부터 침묵 그리고 독설에 이르기 까지 하나로 통할 수 있는 길을 시도하고 있다.

The Book of Job introduces a “two-faced” Job. One is a face of a righteous faithful hero in Job 1:1-2:10. Another is the image of a human sufferer defending oneself in Job 3:1-31:40. Focusing on Job 2:11-3:26，this paper investigates the reasonable connection between the faithful Job in chapters 1 and 2 and the spiteful Job in chapter 3 who suddenly changes his attitude by cursing his own day of birth and speaking maliciously. The key point is to read the silence in 2:11-13 and malicious tongue in 3;1-26 as one. Applying the psychological explanation in the stages of suffering and employing the biblical elucidation in the rhetorical critical reading of the Book of Job, this paper attempts to interpret and integrate Job s changes - from conventional confession to silence then to malicious tongue - with the notion of “fence”.
